Our Radiators are Grit blasted in accordance with Rubert Surface Roughness Comparator - SA 2.5 (As per ISO 8501 standards),
at our In-house Blasting Facility.
It can accommodate radiators of up to 4000mm in length.
The Radiators are Externally flow coated with Epoxy Zinc Phosphate / Zinc rich primer / M.I.O ( Micaceous Iron Oxide ), As Base & Intermittent coats for corrosion protection.
The Radiators are Externally flow coated with Epoxy / Polyurethane / Synthetic Enamel paints, as Top Coats, In compliance with
shades of IS: 5 or RAL Paint Standards.
Our complete painting process complies with ISO 12944 – Global Corrosion standards for
C - 3 / C - 4 / C - 5 Anti-Corrosion Paint Protection standards.
We provide all paint shades as per customer's specification and requirements.
The Radiators are wire brushed and flushed with cleaning agents to remove internal impurities.
It is then air dried and well cleaned before Flush / Flood coating with Alkyd Phenolic based Hot oil resistant Varnish confirming to Class A of IS: 350 with Temperature Index of 120ºc to 150ºc.
The Radiators are allowed to dry thoroughly for a duration of 10 - 24 Hrs in a dust free atmosphere.
● All radiators undergo strict dimensional checks and various tests listed below.
ROUTINE TEST:
1. Radiators are pressure tested for leakage at 2kg/cm², underwater for 30 mins.
2. After painting, the paint thickness is measured on all the Radiators.
3. Paint peel-off test as per ASTM 335983 Standards is performed on radiators randomly.
TYPE TEST:
1. Radiators are type tested for leakage against hot transformer oil at 105°C at 1kg/cm².
2. Vacuum tested under a pressure of
5 mm/Hg absolute for 60 mins and ensure that the permanent deflection recorded does not exceed 0.5 mm, to pass the Quality Check.
● All radiators are thoroughly inspected as per our QC standards and complete traceable data of each radiator is recorded.
● The radiators are well cleaned before they are Crate / Box packed In-house.
All the radiators undergo a Final Inspection process before they are ready for Packing.
Rubber caps are provided at all 4 ends of the header pipe to prevent water / dust particles from entering the radiator.
The radiators are well cleaned and wrapped with a thick covering and secured using a Plastic strap with metal clips.
The wrapped radiators are then Crate / Box packed In-house, to prevent any transit damages.
The boxes are labelled with all the basic details of each radiator before dispatch.
